A Conversation with Cornelia Parker

Join us on opening day for a conversation with artist Cornelia Parker and exhibition co-curator Andrea Schlieker. 

Together they will discuss Parker's remarkable four-decade career, the ideas that shape her work, and the making of this major exhibition.  

One of the most significant artists of the 21st century, Parker is renowned for transforming everyday objects into extraordinary works that explore themes of transformation, destruction, renewal, and memory. 

This landmark exhibition, the artist's first major survey in Aotearoa New Zealand, brings together celebrated installations, sculptures, films, and drawings spanning her career.  

The conversation will be introduced by Wellington writer Emily Perkins.
